Dominique Dawes brings her academy to Jersey Village. Three-time Olympic gold medalist Dominique Dawes held a ribbon cutting May 29 and a grand opening May 30 for her new gymnastics and ninja academy at 19714 Hwy. 290. CFISD brings home three UIL Academic State titles. Cypress Springs won its first-ever state title — a 12-point victory in Spelling — and Cypress Woods claimed Computer Science (team and individual) plus Mathematics at UT Austin on May 18–19. A big week for Cy-Fair brains. 🏅 Read more →

Harris County Judge race heads to November. In last Monday's runoff, Letitia Plummer beat Annise Parker 57,755 to 55,213 for the Democratic nomination; Republican Orlando Sanchez won his primary. Both advance to a November 3 general election showdown for Harris County Judge. Read more →
